C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3428

WITHDRAWN Charred oats from a lens of grain and charcoal (163/6234) at the south side and base of the recut enclosure ditch near Structure 7. This aberrant date came from a series of measurements which included other anomalously old dates, probably due to laboratory contamination. Hazel and alder charcoal from the same context was dated as GU-3877 (1200+/-50 BP).
