C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3424

WITHDRAWN Oak charcoal from the outer skin of an intact post (163/6189) near the centre of the south wall line of Structure 7, and was overlain by a stone revetting wall going with a later phase of the building. This date came from a series of measurements which included anomalously old dates, probably due to laboratory contamination. The sample was re-dated as GU-3424R (1240+/-50 BP).
