C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3422

WITHDRAWN Birch, alder and hazel charcoal from a posthole 163/5451 of a large trapezoidal building. This date came from a series of measurements which included anomalously old dates, probably due to laboratory contamination. The sample was re-dated as AA-11758 (1095+/-50 BP), which is to be preferred. The two dates are significantly different.
