C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-3402

Charcoal from a small patch of burnt material interpreted as a small fire, overlain by collapse rubble. Appears to be a single fire using driftwood, burnt in situ when the blockhouse was intact but not in everyday use. See also GU-3401 (1290+/-70 BP) and GU-3403 (1310+/-90 BP).
