GU-3401

Charcoal from a layer of clay, forming one of the lowest of a series of sediments filling a passage through the blockhouse. Appears to be driftwood, burnt and then deposited on the passage floor when the blockhouse was intact but not in everyday use. See also GU-3402 (1200+/-60 BP) and GU-3403 (1310+/-90 BP).
