C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-2607

Peat in a hollow (Site D C118 SF 499) between a worked steatite rock face and its spoil heap, into which developed a peaty soil 118. This was then covered by further spoil from quarry working. See GU2608 (1000 +/-90 BP) for a date from peat higher up in the hollow.
