Charcoal (55RRC) found near the base of the post-hole 4 of the main oval ring of the dun; it must have been deposited either when the timber setting was built (Phase 1) or when it was demolished (Phase III). See also GU-1368 (1950+/-65 BP) and GaK-2493 (2530+/-80 (better 240) BP).
