C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - GU-1197

Charcoal from the lowermost midden layer (BH 78/BBC 07/CS 5) in the east terminal of the period VI cut of the middle ditch at the SW entrance of the fort. Its deposition predates burning of the period VI rampart and it is lower than an upper midden layer in the same ditch.
