A charred hazel nut shell (SFS66S 1052A) from a well defined shell midden layer (TP1 C 6614) low down in a brown matrix inside a rock-shelter situated in the sheltered base of an old sea cliff. Some recent rock fall from the cliff face is visible though the undulating interior.
