Central Ring Cairn. A single piece of hazel charcoal from the surface of the old land surface beneath the core of a previously unrecognised ring cairn on the edge of the Balnuaran of Clava cemetery. There are no traces of burnt material within the excavated sample of the interior of the monument, nor is there any in the modern deposits which cover the surface of the monument.
