C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - AA-22906

A fragment of birch charcoal from L23, a shallow, bowl shaped pit with a single homogenous fill. It contained large quantities of grooved ware pottery and 7 flints. It is likely to be a ritual deposit in which soil and pottery are deposited in a single episode.
