(Location cited as NX 144 309). East Tarbet: near [Mull of Galloway lighthouse, NX13SE 2.00] there is a small harbour with a rubble pier, probably used for land supplies.

Supplies for the lighthouse NX13SE 2.00 were landed at East Tarbert: the quay rubble-built on bedrock with granite rubble cottage/store set within neat garden walls.
