This structure is visible on post-war RAF vertical air photographs (V/RAF/882, 67-8, flown 30 March 1954) 700m to the N of the main elements of the radar station. It is depicted on the OS 1:10000 scale map (1980). The air photograph also shows four small bases immediately to the N of the bunker which may possibly be for a mast or a UP mounting.
