BOILER A metal vessel in which water is heated and circulated, either as hot water or as steam, for heating or power.
CHIMNEY STALK A tall, usually tapering, structure built of brick, concrete or steel, used to carry smoke and gases to an altitude where they can be exhausted into the atmosphere.
ENGINE A machine, powered by steam, gas, electricity or other energy source, which produces energy of movement. Use for stationary industrial engines rather than transport use.
