CAIRNFIELD A group of cairns in close proximity to each other, the majority of which are clearance cairns.
CLEARANCE CAIRN An irregularly constructed, generally unstructured, mound of stones. Often, but not necessarily, circular. Normally a byproduct of field clearance for agricultural purposes.
CULTIVATION TERRACE A strip of land on a slope, which has built up to provide a flat surface for the cultivation of crops.
