The first phase relates to the construction of the T-plan church and tower in 1779, and the second phase to the remodelling of the church in 1864 which included the construction of porches, a northern extension and internal alterations. The third phase is associated with minor alterations, including the insertion of a door in the lower stage of the tower, undertaken during the 20th century.
