NX25NW 12 2332 5510

Not to be confused with NX25NW 11 or NX25NW 21.

(NX 2333 5509) A crannog (No 10 on plan), visible during the drought of 1873 as a circular mound of stones, set on peat and measuring 18' in diameter and over 3' in height, with three short beams of wood laid on top. Nearby was a mass of wood, about 5' by 3' formed of several pieces joined together.

NX 2332 5510. This crannog is discernible just below the surface as a circle of stones 6.0m in diameter. A submerged causeway 1.5m wide extends 6.0m to the shore on the W. There is no wood to be seen either on or near the site of this crannog.
