Virtue Well, Yetholm. This old balm-well is situated near the road-junction 300 yds. N of Town Yetholm. It has been faced with modern masonry.
RCAHMS 1956, visited 22 October 1937.
This well is now amost completely dried up. The modern facing bears a weathered inscription on which the following can be discerned: 'The Virtue Well.' AW FW 1867.
