A small group of wooden huts forming the remains of a dispersed site for Chraterhall Airfield (NT74NE 7.00) are situated on the westerrn edge of a field about 200m SW of Purves Hall (NT74SE 18).

The group consists of at least six huts of two differing types (at NT 76016 44711, NT 76027 44693, NT 76031 44689, NT 76025 44689, NT 76071 44665 and NT 76105 44692). All the huts are now being used for agricultural purposes.

The purpose or use of the huts is not known.
