For Charterhall Airfield see NT74NE 7.00.

Several small hutted camps and communications installations have been identified from postwar RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK1515, 7456-7459, 15 April 1946), to the W of Charterhall Airfield. The camps and huts are spread over an area of 2Km sq. and include two radio stations for ground control of aircraft and the site of a possible Ground Control Intercept (GCI) radar unit. The remaining hutted camps formed part of the dispersed accommodation for the airfield.
