Accessing Scotland's Past Project

The east lodge of Newton Don lies at the entrance of a drive, which winds towards the house through landscaped woodland for a distance of about one kilometre.

Designed by Sir Robert Smirke, who was also responsible for major renovations to the house itself, the lodge is a small single-storeyed structure, designed in a Classical style.
