Dunbar, 24th Oct. The following vessels are ashore near this place, viz.:- LOUISE, Demazure, from Charente to Leith, with brandy, a total wreck: crew and part of cargo saved. TRITON, Brandt, from Rostock to Leith, with wheat, a total wreck: mate only saved. LUCY END, Craigie, from Montrose to London, with deals: crew saved.

Dunbar, 24th Oct. The LUCY END, Craigie, of & from Montrose, for London, stranded yesterday near Whiteburyness, is full of water: cargo (boards) being discharged. [Record received incomplete].

NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 10666).

(Classified as wooden schooner: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 23 October 1864). Lucy End: this vessel stranded at Whitburyness (Whitburgh Point?). Capt. Craigie.

Registration: Montrose. Built 1834. 85grt. Length: 20m. Beam: 5m.

(Location of loss cited as N56 1.33 W2 34.75).
