The site of the camp of General Leslie and the Covenanting army immediately prior to their defeat at the Battle of Dunbar, 3rd September 1650, by Oliver Cromwell's Parliamentarian army (NT67NE 54).

'A few slight undulations of the ground are all that now remain to point out its site. It comprehended part of the ancient fort (NT67NE 60) which stood on its western side.'

Name Book 1853.

Apart from a few slight, unsurveyable undulations which may be associated with the camp, no trace of any remains could be found.
