Archaeology Notes

NT55SW 25 5154 5310

The cropmarks of a pit-alignment (NT c.5131 5302 to NT c. 5166 5314) has been revealed by oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1995), crossing a field 400m WSW of Addinston farmsteading. It is aligned WSW-ENE in a roughly straight line and it is visible for a distance of at least 380m.
