Leith, 8th Feb. During the gale yesterday, the COMMERCIAL PACKET (sloop), of this port, went to pieces near North Berwick: several lighters and coasting craft have been driven out to sea. [Record received incomplete].

(Classified as sloop: no cargo specified but date of loss cited as 8 February 1856). This vessel stranded near North Berwick and went to pieces.
