The horizontal sundial at Niddrie Marischal House is illustrated and described in Ross's Ancient Sundials of Scotland'. It was suggested in MS 5741/4/6 that a lectern sundial held in the Royal Museum, Edinburgh, might have come from Niddrie Marischal House, but this is unlikely. (A Cassells, 7 October 2010).
