NT28SW 1.03 Centred 2068 8062

This battery was part of the additions to NT28SW 1.02 during 1941.

A short visit was made to the island in late February 2010 by RCAHMS to undertake a rapid photographic survey.

This gun emplacement is situated on the N side of the island and has a four storey Battery Observation Post immediately to the S of the gun pit. The concrete canopy has been pushed in onto the gun pit.
