Project (March 2013 - September 2013)

A project to characterise the quantity and quality of the Scottish resource of known surviving remains of the First World War. Carried out in partnership between Historic Scotland and RCAHMS.

Note (7 November 2013)

A Royal Engineers store is shown on two plans of Inchkeith (The National Archives WO 78/5161 and WO 78/5162). The building lies at the SE corner of a small enclosure.

By the Second World War the building has been demolished, and a new larger hut occupies the site.
