NT 260 418. There is an oval cairn, 8.0m x 5.0m, to the SW of, and below, the 1129' spot height.

A slight stony grass-covered mound upon which is a small modern cairn. It does not appear to be sepulchral, and is probably the covering mound of the early OS Trig Station which existed here (OS 6" map, 1856). Visited by OS (SFS) 17 September 1974
