Standing Building Recording (21 December 2015)
NT 13084 74105 A historic building survey was undertaken, 21 December 2015, of the former stable block at the Conifox Nurseries to the E of Kirkliston, prior to its conversion and renovation. The building, which forms part of the former Foxhall Estate, was built in the late 19th century, and consists of a stable block to the SE and two cottages to NW, forming a T-shape. Unfortunately, many of the original stable fixings had been removed, bar a few tether rings and a hay rack. The remains of the fireplaces to the cottages were exposed, but the fittings had been removed.
