The surviving remains of an earth banked dispersal bay are situated immediately NE of a new aircraft hangar on the S side of the former World War II airfield, now the southern perimeter of the modern airport (NT17SE 69.00).
The earthwork has been reduced to one arm of the bay with the central air-raid shelter also extant. All other traces have been removed.

The Pillbox Study Group report a number of dispersal pens situated around the perimeter of the Turnhouse Airfield at NT 1550 7309, NT 1593 7328, NT 1538 7408, NT 1498 7400, NT 1503 7376, NT 1513 7352, NT 1525 7324, NT 1519 7337, NT 1567 7313 and NT 1609 7360.
