A pillbox has been identified from post-war RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 119, Pt.I, 5026-7, flown 20 June 1946) in the angle of the junction between Cammo Road and Turnhouse Road. The pillbox was partly demolished during the post-war alterations to RAF Turnhouse, the lower part is now being utilised as part of a greenhouse.
