Archaeology Notes

NS89SW 40 83372 92248

This single-arched bridge of squared rubble construction carries a footpath across the Pow of Polmaise in an area of dense vegetation. The pow has apparently been infilled at this point by a mixture of marine silt and coal-mining waste.

Visited by RCAHMS (RJCM), 20 October 1996.
