Two ranges of buildings, four pumps and four workers' rows are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire, 1864, sheet xiii) immediately N of Shotts Iron Works (NS85NE 2.00). They were subsequently cleared to make way for the works' railway yards (2nd edition, 1899, sheet xiii).
The area has since been redeveloped and there are no identifiable remains.
