There is a holy well, dedicated to St Margaret, in Dalziel parish.

There is a deep well in the NW corner of the courtyard of Dalzell House.

Visited by OS, 28 August 1953.

The fine, almost shrine-like wellhead was added by Billings (c.1860) to the ancient St Margaret's Well.
