NS57SE 38 centred 5809 7109

A four gun-emplacement battery, possibly mounting 3.7-inch guns with an accommodation camp adjacent to the public road.

Information from RCAHMS (DE) July 1997

This World War II heavy anti-aircraft battery is situated on the S side of Balmore Road. One small section of one gun-emplacement survives amongst the factory buildings which now occupy most of the site. The battery was armed with four 3.7-inch guns.
