Archaeology Notes

NS32NE 39.03 c. 3640 2740

A pillbox has been identified from an RAF WWII oblique air photograph (No.1 CAM, AF558, 6 May 1942) about 40m E of the old main hangar area. The pillbox was subsequently demolished during the re-organisation of Prestwick Airport.
