The SHUNA was wrecked near Ardmore Point, Islay. The vessel, built in 1915 was owned at time of loss by Clydeside Ship Owners Co.

Surveying Details

-----------------------------

25 February 1975. The vessel was wrecked near Ardmore Point, Islay, at 55 38 58N, 006 02 22W. The machinery salvaged. The stern is intact, but the remainder has broken up. The seabed depth is about 15.2 metres, alongside a reef, and there is some wreckage on the reef.

NB: The site is not to be confused with another SHUNA lost nearby on 9 May 1913.
