NR36NE 5.01 3886 6812

Part of the rim of a stone basin, decorated with an undulating plant-stem of medieval character, was found 'under the ruins of the east end of the chapel' about 1830*. The present whereabouts of this fragment, which may have formed part of a font or stoup, is unknown.
