The ruins of this deserted township are situated on the lower slopes of Cnoc an Tighe, about 150m to the NW of the shore of Loch Finlaggan. The buildings and enclosures were plotted at 1:5000, as part of the survey of the landscape around Loch Finlaggan. The township is shown in ruins on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Islands of Islay and Jura, Argyllshire, 1882, sheet 198).

A township comprising five unroofed buildings and three enclosures is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1867, sheet cxcviii). Three unroofed buildings and three enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
