Named Location (Nlo) (3 February 2012)

NLO: Bell Rock [name: NO 761 268].

Note (3 February 2012)

(Location entered as NO c. 758 268 [N56 26.00 W2 23.50]). The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative, being derived from that (NO 7584 2685: N56 26.00 W2 23.50) entered for the wreck of HMS Argyll (NO72NE 8002).

The suggestion that these discoveries may be equated with the recorded loss of the warship York [NO72NE 8012] in 1804 remains unconfirmed.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 3 February 2012.
