Artefact Recovery (1992)

NO 441 506. This portable stone, measuring only 0.17m by 0.11m by 0.04m is of horneblende schist, which is not local to Angus. It has been shaped by hand, but natural fault lines in the stone form a cross. Originally found in 1992, it is now on display in the Meffan Institute, Forfar.
