(Location cited as NO 462 517). Engine shed and repair works, built late 19th century by the Caledonian Rly. A large 7-bay red and brick shed, with ridged roof, with a 9-bay workshop adjoining. The windows are round-headed.

The former Motive Power Depot stands isolated amongst modern housing and small industrial units N of Station Place and is still in use as a warehouse.

This is a late 19th century polychrome brick railway repair works which was built for the Caledonian Railway. The works were occupied by a motor vehicle bodywork manufacturer on the date of visit.
