Estimate for completing 'Lumleathin' House belonging to David Graham of Fintry.

Late 18th Century GD 151/10/84.

(Undated) inforemation in NMRS.

Linlathen House: The Grahams of Fintry acquired Linlathen probably in the first half of the 17th century and built the present house, calling it Fintry. They remained until 1803, and when the property was sold, the original name of Linlathen was restored. The only memorials of the Grahams, remaining at Linlathen, are date stones - one on the back window of the bothy 17:RG:70; on the back window of a stable, 17:RG:71; on the fountain-head, DG:AM:1705. The mansion is extensive, but unpretentious.

A J Warden 1880-5.

The central portion of Linlathen House has been demolished and the remaining wings show no signs of antiquity; they appear to be wholly of late 18th - 19th century date.

Visited by OS (J L D) 30 April 1958.
