NO33NW 9 3444 3928.

(Area NO 344 392) 160 yards to the west of NO33NW 7 and lower down the hill, is a group of 3 stones forming a triangle 15'6" x 15'3" x 6'3". One stone measures 4' x 2' x 1' high: a second 4' x 2'7" x 9" high: the third 5' x 2' x 1'6" high. The latter has on its upper face 7 cups varying from 1 1/2"-3" in diameter. Two cups have a single ring and there is a connecting groove between two others. All stones are of sandstone.

J R Allen 1881.

No trace of these stones was found during investigation. At the spot indicated is a heap of field stones which may be hiding the stones in question.
