NO29NE 3 254 950

(NO 254 950) A small shallow stone cup or lamp of mica-slate, 4 inches in diameter, with a circular perforation through its short round handle was found while digging the foundations for the new buildings at Balmoral Castle (NO29NE 15.00). It was given to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1863 by the Rev J G Michie.
