Field Visit (5 July 1989)

NO24NE 13.01 2878 4587.

Incorporated into the W side of the parapet of Old Bridge of Dean (NO24NE 13.00) there are a number of architectural fragments. They comprise a moulded window rybat; a rib-moulding; an engaged cap (with a re-used shaft beneath); a coped stone; a weathered sill with moulded mullion upstand; and a dormer pediment. Most of the fragments are probably derived from Coupar Angus Abbey (NO23NW 13).

Visited by RCAHMS (IMS) 5 July 1989.
