This cairn is enclosed within, and slightly truncated on the SE by, a modern wall; it measures about 13m in diameter and 0.7m in height. Several cists are said to have been discovered in the cairn and it is also noted that 'ancient sepulchral remains' had been found in the field adjoining the cairn (Stuart 1856).
