Archaeology Notes

NO22NW 5 229 271.

(NO 2290 2712) 'Paving near Standing Stone (Perth 87 SW 10) in Garden of Fingask Castle (19th November, 1949) - See Finds Book I No1.' Information from F T Wainwright, undated.

There is no 'paving' to be seen in this area, and no one at Fingask Castle can point out the exact find spot. No further information. Visited by OS (RDL) 16 October 1963

It is unclear what the function of the paving may have been and Murray Thriepland, proprietor of Fingask Castle (NO22NW 7.00), was unaware of anything at this location.

Visited by RCAHMS (IMS) 21 June 1989.
