The grass-grown remains of a stone quarry are situated on a steep SE-facing slope about 630m SW of Dupplin Castle. The area of the quarry is depicted as outcrop and thin woodland on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire, sheet cix, 1866), but it is noted as an 'Old Quarry' on the 2nd edition of the map (Perthshire, sheet cix.NE, 1901).
